But a landslide victory and a huge margin of votes in the Lok Sabha polls to the BJP and Modi has turned the tables. Narendra Modi now has not only become the Prime Minister of India but has proved that he is the mightiest leader in galore of the leaders of the South Asia. Sensing this much before, the United States diplomats started a process to comply the unjust and insulting treatment given to Narendra Modi on fake and venomous campaign by some groups. Highlight of the Week     Congress fighting a lost battle over LoP Unable to overcome the terrible shock of the crushing defeat at the Lok Sabha polls, the Congress party is desperately trying its luck at yet another seemingly lost battle for the post of Leader of Opposition. So desperate is the party that it has sought the indulgence of even the President of India to prevail upon the BJP government to concede to its �illegitimate� claim. However, the past record nails Congress claim at the root. In the period of Congress hegemony between 1952 to 1969, from 1971 to 1977 and from 1980 to 1989, the Congress did not gave the status of leader of opposition to leaderof any party. They even did not care to recognise any group as opposition group. Now it is getting paid in its own terms.
