Shramev Jayate equally important as Satyameva Jayate : Modi starts Labour friendly programme

While inaugurating �Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shramev Jayate Karyakram� in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra modi Wednesday made a strong pitch for understanding and appreciating labour issues through the perspective of the labourers, so that they could be understood and resolved with compassion.

Presenting a bouquet of labour reform scemes, PM said that such a compassionate approach would result in the "Shram Yogi" (labourer) becoming a "Rashtra Yogi," and hence, a "Rashtra Nirmaata" (nation-building). The Prime Minister said that in the nation's development, the phrase "Shramev Jayate" had as much significance as "Satyamev Jayate."

A group of Indians were spotted canvassing for the Yezidi community in Iraq at the same time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing Indo-Americans ar Medison Square garden in America. Who are the Yezidis and why a bunch of tech savvy Indians are suddenly eager to take up their cause?
